Stamp Space Makeover

Stampin’ Up had a contest for a Stamp Space Makeover and Tamzin Cochrane was the winner! Darn it wasn't me...my girls helped make a video to submit last June. What a makeover it turned out to be! Hold onto your hat while you watch this whirlwind of creativity (AKA the Gardners) transform Tamzin’s stamp space into a place of inspiration! They posted a video on Youtube so I thought I’d share with you, too! I hope to try again next Year! Enjoy Lisa!

One Sheet Wonder

Last week a friends father passed away. So I wanted to make some Thank you cards for the family. Plus tie the cards into this months StampIn Up So Shelli - Creative Challenge. The theme is "Keeping it Simple". To me nothing keeps it simple then the one sheet wonder technique - you stamp up one sheet of whisper white card stock... basically creating your own designer series paper.

I first chose my colors, I knew I wanted bright fun colors, naturally my thoughts went to the 2011-13 In Color Line. Next I wanted to use a fun flower stamp set. Then I remembered a fun card I swapped for at my SIU convention last year from Missy Shipman, she had used the colors I chose and the Flower Fancy Stamp Set. Below is my one sheet creation.

Valentine Idea

Valentine Message Board and I love U photo frames

I got the basic idea for these heart picture frames off of Pinterest(brassyapple.blogspot.com).
I love black, white and red together. What a perfect use of my left over Retired StampIn' UP! Designer Series Paper - Night and Day.
Plus another bonus I recycled/reused some old photo frames, that I no longer was using.

Then I had a thought for Valentine's Day count down or message board: I left the photo frame glass fronts in the frame, using a earsable marker you could write a message to your Valentine each morning leading up to Valentines Day. It's hard to see on the photo, but I did write on the 4th message board shown.
