SNOW 12X12 Home Decor

SNOW Frame, I saw this idea on Pinterest, it was repinned from stampinconnection.com (a web site SIU has exclusive for demonstrators so they can show case their creations. The SNOW frame art work was cased from Anne Granger (a fellow demonstrator).  I changed the DSP and colors from the original, to coordinate with what DSP I had in my craft room:  Frame is 12X12 (I purchased at a big box craft store).

DSP: this designer series paper is retired (sorry, it was a piece I just had, can't remember its name)

Punches: Bird, circles, Oval, owl, ornament,snowflake, word window, flower

When it snowed last week I suddendly was excited for Christmas.  I created these fun tags, featuring the Scentsational Season Stamp Set and matching Holiday Collection Framelits Die found on page 16 of  the 2012 StampIn' Up! Holiday Catalog
Other StampIn' Up! products I used:
Card Stock: Crumb Cake, Island Inde\igo, Cherry Cobbler, Lucky Limeade, Very Vanilla
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Lucky Limeade, Early Essperso, Island Indigo
Misc,: Big Shot, Two Tags Bigz Die, Early Espresso Baker's Twine, 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon (Lucky Limeade and Island Indigo) and some retired ribbon I had laying around.

What a FUN Gift!  Come create this FUN FLIP BOOK at my house, then take it home and add pictures and special notes for your mother/friend. 

It will be a fun keepsake for her to look at all year long.

EACH KIT WILL CONTAIN:

1. color instrucitons (so you could recreate with any Simply Scrappin Kit)

2. 3 CD cases

3. 1/2 package of Spring Fever Simply Scrappin Kit

4. one extra sheet of 12X12 Mellow Mambo Card Stock

5. 24" coordinating ribbon ( you can choose from what I have)

6. 3 3X3 envelopes

7. roll of Sticky Strip

You will have left over designer series paper, self adhesive die-cut designs and Stick Strip, so you could make a 2nd flip book oe use your left overs to create cards or scrap book pages.

BUT if you would like to create a 2nd book you could purchase this add on kit.

6. instructions and supplies to make one of each of the standard sized cards shown above

What you will need to bring to the camp: paper cutter, adhesive, and blocks for clear mount stamps

You will have extra supplies left over. So If you would like to make more of each you will be able to. Plus you will have the sample you created at the camp to copy.

Green & Growing SIU Challenge

I wanted to create a card for this monthes So Shelli StampIn' Up! Challenge using the tri-fold shutter layout, Big Shot Labels Collection Dies (Occasions Mini Catalog)and the NEW Summer Smooches Suite. Here's my first attempt. But it just wasn't popping like I wanted it to.

Here's my 2nd attempt. I added another layer of Lucky Limeade Card Stock, changed the color of the flower to Pacific Point and I used my Big Shot Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder on the Label Die Cut. Just doing a few simple additions to the card made it really POP! What do you think?
